The CYBERUS Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in cybersecurity, or CYBERUS, is a highly integrated two-year full-time master programme.
Semesters 1 and 2 are taught at the Universit茅 de Bretagne Sud, Semester 3 at the 8xav福利导航 Libre de Bruxelles or at the 8xav福利导航 of Luxemborg and Semester 4 is dedicated to the research project/Master thesis.

The course will cover the following topics: Entrepreneurship in general, entrepreneurial personalities, business planning, lean startup, entrepreneurial marketing, entrepreneurial finance, entrepreneurial growth, entrepreneurial exit, select types of entrepreneurship (e.g., social entrepreneurship, sustainable entrepreneurship). The course also features case studies, in which students will apply the concepts of the lecture to real business cases, preferably from the cybersecurity sector. -

The objective of the exam is to evaluate students鈥 understanding and application of key entrepreneurship concepts.
Presentation 50%The students will solve and present their solutions to case study assignments. The objective of the case studies is to develop students鈥 analytical and decision-making skills by applying theoretical concepts to real-world entrepreneurial scenarios and fostering critical thinking and strategic planning abilities.

This may be altered slightly to suit the needs of the course, year by year . Particularly with the onset of AI, different methods of assessment are being considered and may be introduced.
At present, the anticipated structure of assessment is as follows:
Three assignments :- Structure of an introduction, organising a sentence puzzle and writing the 2nd half of the introduction including a thesis statement /objective
- Paraphrase of a text
- Giving a presentation (usually self-recorded on video)
An end-of-Semester test will take place and will be one of the following:- Writing a short essay in class (350 鈥 500 words, handwritten)
- A written test paper in class
- Questions on grammatical structures, phrasing and vocabulary
- Short paraphrase
- An oral test done through discussion, both individually and in a group. (This is a less likely option.)

L鈥檕bjectif de ce cours est de vous faire r茅aliser un saut qualitatif – en fran莽ais oral et 茅crit -, de vous 芦 faire passer une barre de niveau 禄.
Le semestre hiver sera centr茅 sur l鈥檃rgumentation, il vous fera passer de B1 脿 B2. Le semestre 茅t茅 s鈥檌nt茅ressera aux interactions. Il consolidera le niveau B2 pour vous conduire vers le niveau C1.
Des exercices de voix, de parole, de langue, de langage et de communication dans diff茅rents domaines vous entrainer ont 脿 des pratiques d鈥櫭ヽoute et de production qui, autrement que des cours th茅oriques, vous conduiront 脿 plus de facilit茅 et d鈥檃isance en fran莽ais.
Des activit茅s relatives 脿 la compr茅hension et 脿 la production de langue orale et 茅crite: vocabulaire, 茅tymologie, d茅rivation, r茅f茅renciation portant sur diff茅rentes unit茅s linguistiques vous am猫neront 脿 utiliser et 脿 comprendre de mieux en mieux les pratiques du fran莽ais.
Bien entendu, le contenu s鈥檃daptera aux besoins exprim茅s par chaque membre du groupe. -

Comment 芦 parler 禄, 芦 lire 禄 et 芦 茅crire 禄 mieux et plus facilement en fran莽ais ?
D鈥檃bord en s鈥檌nt茅ressant aux 芦 sons 禄 et en les mettant ensemble pour dire des mots mais aussi en 茅tudiant les lettres et les groupes de lettres qui permettent d鈥櫭ヽrire ces sons. Ensuite en mettant ces mots ensemble pour faire des phrases qui ont du sens.
Parler et 茅crire, c鈥檈st s鈥檃dresser 脿 autrui, parfois dans le but de le convaincre, de le conduire 脿 adopter notre point de vue. Dans ce cas, il s鈥檃git d鈥櫭猼re capable d鈥檃rgumenter. L鈥檃rgumentation se pratique 脿 l鈥檕ral mais 茅galement 脿 l鈥櫭ヽrit, ce qui est tr猫s utile pour votre cursus acad茅mique lorsque vous devez d茅montrer ce que vous affirmez.

Objectives
The objective of the course is to make the students familiar with the quality and security threats to AI systems, especially in light of听 (European) regulations. The course generally introduces the students to the foundations of security attacks, but enables also the manipulation of the related concepts through experiments (via Jupyter notebooks). The covered topics include: evasion attacks on computer vision, tabular data, NLP models; poisoning attacks; privacy concerns and threats; distribution drifts, presentation attacks on biometric systems, vulnerabilities in AI-based malware detectors, certifiable robustness, detection of generated content, regulation and auditing, etc. The course sessions will feature ex-cathedra presentations from the teaching team and external speakers, focused discussions, hands-on exercises, expert panels, paper reading and presentation by the students.

Description
Static analyses are used in various situations, from compiler code optimization to security analysis of Android applications. This course provides the concepts and techniques underlying static program analysis. Topics include forward/backward data-flow analysis, inter-procedural analysis, pointer analysis and call graph construction. A particular focus will be given to recent and advanced techniques such as Android bytecode static analysis for security. The course will mix theory and practice. Students will implement simple analyses and complete a course project. In the second part of the course, the student will learn the foundations of dynamic analysis techniques and, in particular, the foundations of fuzzing techniques that are widely used to detect vulnerabilities.听 -
Assessment
Each student will get three grades: one for the assignments (labs), one for a project, and one for the exam(s).
The final grade is obtained by using the following weights:- 50% assignments (labs)
- 20% for a project
- 30% for exam(s)
If the student gets less than 7 out of 20 for the exam(s), this exam grade will be the final grade.听
If a student fails, the student can keep his/her grades related to the assignments and projects.
Only attending the exam(s) is mandatory.
Once the exam(s) is completed, the final grade is obtained by following the same weights as presented above (i.e., 50% assignments (labs), 20% for a project, 30% for exam(s))

Assessment
The internship and master鈥檚 thesis are jointly supervised between UL and UBS. The Master Theis鈥檚 defence is held in presence before an examination board nominated by the Director of the Programme, composed by two CYBERUS academic coordinators and, if relevant, by the internship supervisor. The defense is public, unless requested by the internship supervisor with valid reasons related to work confidentiality.
听
The internship and master鈥檚 theses are evaluated along three dimensions, each being worth 1/3 of the final mark:
a) assessment of the intern鈥檚 research (and development) performance by the internship supervisor trough the internship evaluation form (templete is provided) (30% of the final grade).
听
b) evaluation of the written master鈥檚 thesis document by the CYBERUS academic coordinators (30% of the final grade).
听
c) oral presentation of the internship and of the thesis by the student and assessment by the examination committee (40% of the final grade).
听

The assessment criteria will include at least: performance (command of the concepts and techniques), form (clarity of expression and presentation) and professional conduct if applicable. Students with difficulties will be monitored closely.

The defense consists of 20鈥 presentation by the candidate followed by 10鈥 questions and 10鈥 of questions by the defense board, and 10鈥 of defence board鈥檚 deliberation to determine the grade.

In their deliberations the members of the defence board together validate the grade.
