Specific information for this programme

  • Required Degree

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (180 ECTS) in history or other related disciplines such as geography, sociology, anthropology, political science, economic, literary studies etc.

  • Language Skills

    C1 certificate in English and French

    In addition to the documents required for the enrolment at the 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ of Luxembourg, students need to submit the following documents:

    – letter of motivation
    – CV
    – other documents applicants consider useful (e.g. internship reports…)

  • Procedure

    Selection is based on the submitted dossiers. Admission is limited to a maximum of 25 students per year.

  • Decisive Elements

    • proven interest in high level academic research;
    • grades during the past academic years;
    • knowledge of German is considered an asset;
    • practical experience in international/European research contexts (e.g. internships, BA theses) will be considered an advantage.
