Chair Chair in Sustainable Finance

Sustainable Finance conference

The Chair and Research Programme in Sustainable Finance, funded by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Environment, Climate, and Sustainable Development, organises a yearly Conference in Sustainable Finance at the 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg. Top-notch, international researchers come to Luxembourg to present their research in sustainable finance.

The topics discussed at the conference include, for example, firm-level management of ESG-related challenges, expected rates of returns and risks of ESG investing, the power of divestments to have an impact on the affected firms and the impact of ESG disclosure on mutual funds.

The conference is split into two parts. While the first part is fully academically oriented and follows the standard format of academic conferences, the second part is open to the general public and has the goal to share knowledge with the financial industry in Luxembourg. The later part takes place at the Banque de Luxembourg, includes keynote presentations from distinguished academics and concludes with a panel discussion on a dedicated question in Sustainable Finance.
