Brilliant minds: of women who shape science at Uni.lu

On the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ honours the curiosity, talent, and creativity that women bring to sciences and higher education. 

Discover stories of brilliant researchers at the 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ – a miniature sneak preview of the talent pool of female scientists who carry out research, train students and commit to sharing knowledge.  

Women still represent only around 35% of STEM graduates and professionals worldwide. To improve gender equality and career development in science and higher education, the 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ has launched in recent a number of career development initiatives, dedicated funding schemes and awareness campaigns for girls and young women.
