Research integrity
The 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg conducts research in accordance with the highest standards of ethics and integrity in research.聽 The 8xav福利导航 follows the principles and practice of good research conduct as set out in the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity, and the European Commission鈥檚 Charter & Code for Researchers.
Our continuous efforts to train our research community and raise awareness of best practices include:
- e-learning 鈥淩esearch Integrity鈥 course permanently available for all our researchers, whether staff or student, and research supervisors from fellow Luxembourg Research Institutes
- mandatory training on Good Scientific Practice for all doctoral candidates
- research ethics and research integrity workshops for supervisors (mandatory for newcomers)
As a research university with over one thousand doctoral candidates, the 8xav福利导航 puts particular emphasis on the training of early career researchers during annual Induction Days, allowing them to start their research on the right foot.
Suspected cases of misconduct in scientific research must be reported and will be dealt with without delay. Depending on the severity of the suspected misconduct, the allegation should be communicated to the direct line manager, the group leader, the Head of Department, the Dean or Director, or the Vice-Rector for Research. Confidentiality of communications is ensured throughout. Credible allegations of research misconduct will be transferred to the Luxembourg Agency for Research Integrity (LARI) for investigation.
