Welcome Week is your official introduction to life at the 8xav�� of Luxembourg. It’s designed especially for you, our new students, to help you feel at home from day one.

A special week for new students

Welcome Week is a series of activities and workshops designed to help new students settle into university life, discover the campus, and make connections. It culminates in Welcome Day, the 8xav��’s main welcome event, featuring an address from the Rector and information booths where you can meet representatives from faculties, departments and support services.

Student engagement & Leadership

Build confidence, expand your network, and develop practical skills in teamwork, communication, and project leadership. Learn how your involvement can be formally recognised through a Certificate.

Connect with fellow students, discover your campus, and start building your university community from day one.

Programme of the Welcome Day

As part of Welcome Week, all new students are invited to Welcome Day, featuring an official welcome from the Rector and an information fair where you can meet representatives from the 8xav��’s faculties, departments and services, and learn about the support available throughout your studies.

Invitations and registration details will be sent by email, so please keep an eye on your inbox.

We highly recommend attending Welcome Week and Welcome Day.
