Markos KONSTANTINIDIS

Current position

Mark Konstantinidis is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Luxembourg Centre for European Law, 8xav�� of Luxembourg.

Research

Mark’s research spans European Union law, international economic law, and international arbitration. His work often lies in the interface between these fields. His doctoral project concerned the relationship between EU law and investment arbitration, adopting both constitutional and international-law perspectives.
Mark’s research has been published in prestigious journals, including the European Law Review, German Law Journal, and International and Comparative Law Quarterly. He regularly publishes on leading legal blogs.
Mark has presented his work at numerous international conferences.

Awards/ Distinctions

Mark has received the Dickson Poon Scholarship during his undergraduate studies. His doctoral research was fully funded by the scholarship of the Centre of European Law at King’s College London. He has been nominated for a King’s Education Award for his teaching and impact on student experience.

Work experience

Prior to joining the LCEL, Mark was a PhD Candidate at King’s College London, where he has been Visiting Lecturer in Law since 2022. He previously also was a Researcher in international arbitration for the National 8xav�� of Singapore, and a Teaching Fellow at 8xav�� College London. He has worked at the Hellenic Competition Commission (traineeship) and served at the Hellenic Air Force Court.
Mark is a qualified lawyer in Greece and the EU, registered at the Athens Bar Association.

Educational background

Mark obtained his PhD from King’s College London, fully funded by a scholarship from KCL’s Centre of European Law. He has completed his LLB with First Class Honours at King’s College London with scholarship, and his LLM with Distinction at 8xav�� College London.
