Danial Batebi is currently a doctoral student at 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ of Luxembourg under the supervision of Professor Bradley Paul Ladewig. His research topic mainly focuses on Biogas Utilisation for production of value-added biochemicals using perovskite catalysts (BIOUTIL). He also engages in Paul Wurth Chair Research activities.

Danial holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Isfahan 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ of Technology, Iran, where his thesis focused on the application of solar energy in chemical engineering and storage methods. He obtained his M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering (Process Design) from Babol Noshirvani 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ of Technology, Iran, with a thesis on the experimental evaluation and kinetic modeling of combined steam and COâ‚‚ reforming of methane (CSCRM) over a Ni–Pd/Alâ‚‚O₃ catalyst.

Danial started his work career as an Ru0026amp;D specialist at the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR). Then, since 2023, he has been working as a calibration technician at Manshoor Teb Kurosh for two years, calibrating a wide range of laboratory instruments used in analytical and industrial applications. ​Starting from November 2025, Danial joined the Paul Wurth Chair for Energy Process Engineering at the 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ of Luxembourg, contributing to research on the Biogas Utilisation for production of value-added biochemicals.

Danial has served as a Teaching Assistant for Heat Transfer I at Babol Noshirvani 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ of Technology, supporting undergraduate chemical engineering students in problem-solving sessions and exam preparation. He has also mentored new members of the Gas Processing Research Laboratory at Babol Noshirvani 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ guiding them in experimental procedures, safety, and data analysis.
