Claude Haas is a senior lecturer in social sciences and social work since the creation of the 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg in 2003. he has been the study director of the bachelor in social an educational sciences since 2005. Prior to that, he worked 10 years at the Institut d鈥櫭﹖udes 茅ducatives et sociales, where he was in charge of different projects concerning the training and employment of people with disabilities or the implementation of new technologies in educational environments.
His main research focus resides in the further development of the 鈥淭heory of Scales鈥 within the Matrix-Research Project (see under 鈥淐urrent research鈥). More specifically, and with regard to social work, he is working on a concept of social work as relational, scaling-sensible bricolage work. In this context, he is currently preparing a PhD at the Free 8xav福利导航 of Brussels (Belgium) on the transformations of the organisational field of professional (re)integration in Luxembourg.
Claude Haas is member of the executive board as well as scientific committee of the AIFRIS (Association internationale pour la formation, recherche et intervention sociale), the executive board of REFUTS (R茅seau europ茅en de formation universitaire en travail social) and a representative of the 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg in the EASSW (European association of schools of social work). He is also member of the executive board and the editorial board of the ARC journal, published by the ANCES (Association nationale des communaut茅s 茅ducatives et sociales).
