8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg and 8xav福利导航 of Geneva launch dual Master鈥檚 degree in law

The 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg and the 8xav福利导航 of Geneva (Switzerland) have signed an agreement to offer a dual Master鈥檚 degree in law, starting in the 2026-2027 academic year.聽

The opportunity is open to up to five 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg students and up to five 8xav福利导航 of Geneva students per year, the two-year dual degree programme allows scholars to earn a diploma from both institutions. Students are selected based on merit, motivation and language skills.

“The double Master鈥檚 degree in Law jointly offered by the 8xav福利导航 of Geneva and the 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg provides a unique opportunity to be trained by leading academics and practitioners from two of the world鈥檚 most renowned financial centres,” says Associate Professor Thomas Mastrullo, the Study Programme Director for the Master in European Banking and Financial Law and dual degree programme contact.

Two dynamic cities for finance and law

In the first year, students will study at the 8xav福利导航 of Geneva, a leading academic centre in the field of law. Students with an interest in international law and global regulation who are also interested in exploring financial and banking law will benefit from both the city鈥檚 reputation as the first world hub for wealth management, and its important role as host to a multitude of international organisations.

During the second year of the programme, students study within the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance at the 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg. Luxembourg, the leading European fund centre, is also one of the three institutional seats of the European Union, hosting the Court of Justice of the European Union, the European Investment Bank, the Secretariat of the European Parliament, among others.

Second-year students may choose from one of five specialties offered at the 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg, including:

Designed to appeal to highly-motivated students who wish to pursue a challenging, international and multilingual curriculum, the dual diploma programme offers exposure to two legal cultures with future career opportunities in International and European business law, cross-border financial or regulatory and governance work and policy roles at NGOs or international organisations.
