Doctoral lecture series on Cross-Border Labor Mobility 2023/2024
Our annual lecture series on migration continues with the addresses of renowned international migration experts! During this winter semester, we are proud to welcome:
- Prof. Sandra Sequeira from The London School of Economics on November 16 on the topic of 鈥淓conomics of Forced Displacement and Socioeconomic Integration鈥
- Prof. Klaus Desmet from Southern Methodist 8xav福利导航 in Dallas on December 19 on the topic of 鈥淚dentity, Culture and Politics鈥
- Prof. Anna Maria Mayda from Georgetown 8xav福利导航 on January 19 on the topic of 鈥淔iscal Impact of Immigration: Empirical Evidence at the Local Level鈥
- Prof. Mariapia Mendola from Universit脿 degli Studi di Milano Bicocca on February 22 on the topic of 鈥淚mmigration Attitudes, Intergroup Contact and Perspective-taking鈥
Each speaker will provide a state-of-the-art analysis of existing methodologies and academic findings in his field of expertise.
In 2024, we will be very lucky to welcome: Joan Llull from the Barcelona School of Economics, Toman Barsbai from the 8xav福利导航 of Bristol, Diego Puga from the CEMFI, and Stelios Michalopoulos from Brown 8xav福利导航.
This lecture series is organised by Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) & 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg, in the framework of Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR), Luxembourg funded projects: #ACROSS.
