On 22 February 2023, the Luxembourg Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LCL) within the 8xav�������� of Luxembourg, will host an Industry Roundtable on Bespoke Supply Chain Resilience.

This intimate and interactive Roundtable covers the topic of Bespoke Supply Chain Resilience and will welcome both industry and academic expert participants.��  The session will be led by Prof. Arnd Huchzermeier, Chair of Production Management,  WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.�� The event will make for a lively exchange, some concrete takeaways for all, and an opportunity to network.��

What will be discussed? – Supply chains have different resilience requirements leading to the concept of “bespoke supply-chain resilience”.�� Companies are pursuing a variety of strategies to enhance supply-chain resilience. This Roundtable discussion examines how managers actually think about resilience strategies, and then analyses the relationship among operations, supply-chain characteristics, and the implemented strategies. A new “Triple-P” (Product, Partnership, and Process complexity) framework that matches resilience strategies to supply-chain archetypes will be introduced. Two major influencers of resilience strategy will be revealed: Homogeneity of internal supply-chain processes�����Ի���Integration with other actors in their end-to-end supply chains.��

At the beginning of the roundtable, Prof. Huchzermeier will also introduce the Industrial Excellence Award (IEA) competition which benchmarks Management Quality for European competitiveness in the industrial and service sectors. In particular, he will review Henkel’s award winning approach to digital supply chain as an example.�� Additional information is available at
