Christian Wolff is Research Professor at the Department of Finance of the 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ of Luxembourg, where he also served as Director of the Luxembourg of Finance (LSF) in the years 2008-2016, as well as a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research, London. He holds PhD and MBA degrees in International Finance from the Booth School of Business at The 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ of Chicago, as well as MSc and BSc degrees in Economics from Erasmus 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½, Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Professor Wolff was previously employed at London Business School and Maastricht 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ and held visiting appointments at the 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ of Chicago, the National 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ of Singapore, and INSEAD. He was President of the European Finance Association (EFA) for the year 2005.

Professor Wolff has published in leading academic journals, such as the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Business, Management Science, the Review of Finance, the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of International Money and Finance, and the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, and was Founding Editor of the Journal of Empirical Finance.

Professor Wolff has been director and advisor of many financial institutions, investment funds, pension funds, central banks, family offices and corporations. He has taught extensively in various MBA and executive programmes around the world.
