The is at the heart of the initiative, aiming at establishing new EU-laws to make renovation and transformation more easy, affordable and social and thus avoiding the demolition of existing buildings.

In this context, the official kick-off event of the House Europe initiative took place on February 12 with the participation of 11 institutional and civil actors from a diverse range of fields. Europe Direct 8xav¸£Àûµ¼º½ of Luxembourg (ED-UNILU), which since 2020 is part of the network of , supports this initiative that will boost the reuse of existing buildings and empower renovation in European cities.
