Europe Direct 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg is a partner in the Erasmus Plus project Youth Participation Activities, KA154-YOU for the 4th edition of 鈥溾, scheduled from 19 to 21 November 2025 in Salzburg, Austria.
This transnational project brings together young people from various backgrounds across Europe to exchange ideas and visions for Europe鈥檚 future. It promotes critical thinking, a deeper understanding of global challenges, and the creation of synergies that go beyond national borders. Through meaningful debates, participants will explore topics such as peace, democracy, rights, inclusion, European identity, and strategies to address technological and environmental challenges.
Nine motivated students were selected to represent the 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg in debates with peers from the other six founding countries of the European Union and Austria.
On the second day of the programme, Thursday, November 20th, the students and their peers worked in small groups on one of the following four topics along with experts:
- Competitiveness and sustainability: conflicting interests
- Freedom, security, and solidarity: together as EU fundamental rights
- Geopolitical challenges: the role of Europe
- Digital transformation & AI: changing times in Europe.
The outcomes of the debates of each working group were summarized in three key questions.
On the final day of the programme, Friday, November 21st, these key questions were addressed to four Members of the European Parliament during the Plenary discussion. The following MEPs participated in the Plenary discussion:
The key questions posed to the four MEPs and the fruitful discussions on the future of Europe will be documented in a final report and shared with the European Parliament, as well as decision-makers at national and local levels.
