On Thursday 30 May 2024, Mrs Iliana Ivanova, European Commissioner European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth and the members of her Cabinet visited the 8xav�������� of Luxembourg, Belval campus. After being greeted by Mr , Mayor of the City of , the guests had insightful discussions on the strategic vision for research and innovation at the 8xav�������� of Luxembourg in the European and international context with Prof. Simone Niclou, Vice-Rector for Research and Dr Elena Danescu, Research Scientist at the C2DH, Coordinator of the project Europe Direct (2021-2025) (ED-UNILU). The guests also visited the Luxembourg Learning Centre (LLC) in the company of its director, Mrs Marie-Pierre Pausch, and the multilingual documentary exhibition entitled “A graphic impression of Europe”, realized by the Europe Direct at the 8xav�������� of Luxembourg and the  (8xav�������� of Lausanne) to raise public awareness of historical and archival sources relating to democracy and European parliamentarianism.
