ArtistESCH: Deng Geschicht Op Denger Mauer

Joint initiative with Portuguese artist Mariana Duarte Santos to create a new artwork in the district Lallange of the city Esch-sur-Alzette.

In the spring of 2022, , and the team of the 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg will work together to with the Portuguese artist Mariana Duarte Santos to create a new artwork in the district Lallange of the city Esch-sur-Alzette.

The fresco (mural painting) aims to tell the (hi)stories of the residents of the Lallange and Lankels neighborhood. To inspire the artist, we are collecting photo鈥檚 on through the Facebook group Fl鈥橢sch Back and we will organise community meetings where residents and the artist can meet.

Everyone is welcome to join us for:

Walking tour Lallange (8 Febuary at 6pm)

We will take a walk together around Lallange to exchange stories and anecdotes about the neighborhood. There is no guide on this tour – the group is the expert! We will meet in front of the wall where the fresco will be created: 12 Cit茅 Dr. Nicolas Schaeftgen in Lallange.

Community gathering (9 February starting at 5pm)

Meet the artist and exchange stories about the history of Lallange during this evening of聽 activities and reminisce. Feel free to bring old photos, or come to see the collection about Lallange thus far. We are looking forward to hearing your personal stories. The evening will take place at the Salle Polyvalente of the Centre Omnisports Henri Schmitz, 34 Bd Hubert Cl茅ment, L-4064 Esch-sur-Alzette. This is a Covid-Check 2G+ event.
