Frédéric is an active member of the digital humanities community. He researched the monetary organisation of Continental Europe in the 20th century, but then gradually turned his attention to the study of the relationship between historians and their primary sources in the digital age on the one hand, and the use of massive data from web platforms in memory studies on the other.
