La s\u00e9rie de conf\u00e9rences publiques \u00ab\u00a0LCSB on Tour<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb arrive \u00e0 Esch-sur-Alzette!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans sa pr\u00e9sentation, Prof. Paul Wilmes, directeur de recherche du groupe Systems Ecology<\/em> au Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB), parlera du microbiote humain: quel est son r\u00f4le et comment est-il \u00e9tudi\u00e9 au LCSB ? Comment agit-il sur notre sant\u00e9 ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La conf\u00e9rence se tiendra en langue luxembourgeoise<\/strong>. Une traduction simultan\u00e9e en fran\u00e7ais et en portugais sur demande \u00e0 travers le formulaire d’enregistrement.<\/p>\n\n\n

\n\u00c0 propos de la conf\u00e9rence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur et \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur de notre corps vit une immense diversit\u00e9 de micro-organismes, collectivement appel\u00e9s microbiote. Il inclut des bact\u00e9ries, des champignons, des virus et d\u2019autres microbes. Ils jouent tous un r\u00f4le important dans la digestion, le d\u00e9veloppement du syst\u00e8me immunitaire et la sant\u00e9 en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, le microbiote intestinal en particulier a \u00e9t\u00e9 associ\u00e9 \u00e0 de nombreuses maladies, du diab\u00e8te et de l\u2019autisme au cancer et \u00e0 la neurod\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rescence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans sa pr\u00e9sentation, le professeur Paul Wilmes<\/a> donne un aper\u00e7u du microbiote humain et de son r\u00f4le, ainsi que de la fa\u00e7on dont il est \u00e9tudi\u00e9 au Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine<\/a> de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Luxembourg<\/a>. Il explique l\u2019influence que le microbiote peut avoir sur la sant\u00e9 et la maladie et pr\u00e9sente des exemples tir\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9tudes de recherche actuelles, comme la mani\u00e8re dont le type d\u2019accouchement influence le d\u00e9veloppement du microbiote chez les nourrissons, comment l\u2019interaction entre les microbes et l\u2019alimentation peut influencer le d\u00e9veloppement du cancer du c\u00f4lon et de la maladie de Parkinson. Il explique ce que le microbiote peut nous r\u00e9v\u00e9ler sur les stades pr\u00e9coces des maladies neurod\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratives comme la maladie de Parkinson et la maladie d\u2019Alzheimer, et comment nous pouvons influencer le microbiote pour rester en bonne sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
