His research combines an interest in contemporary EU multilevel constitutionalism with an interest in constitutional theory and the history of ideas more broadly. Among his publications are, together with Charles F Sabel, <em>Constitutionalising an Overlapping Consensus: the ECJ and the Emergence of a Co-ordinate Constitutional Order<\/em>. European Law Journal, 16, 511-550 (2010); his monograph on <em>Euroconstitutionalism and Its Discontents<\/em>. Oxford 8xav福利导航 Press (2019); and, together with Frank I. Michelman, <em>Constitutions and the Public \/ Private Divide<\/em>. In: Michel Rosenfeld, Andr\u00e1s Saj\u00f3 (eds.), The Oxford Handbook of Comparative Constitutional Law, 2<sup>nd<\/sup> edition (forthcoming in 2025).
