Arts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg, the institute is embedded in the Luxembourgish context, where music education is valued as a <a href=\"https:\/\/chronicle.lu\/category\/education-1\/59078-luxembourg-modernises-music-education-with-new-solfege-reform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cornerstone<\/a> of the Luxembourgish education system. Through its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fhse-en\/research-groups\/ima\/research\/\">research<\/a> and education (Bachelor, IFEN), the institute actively contributes to music education in Luxembourg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IMA&nbsp;also&nbsp;contributes through its&nbsp;collaborations,&nbsp;events,&nbsp;research,&nbsp;and publications to the&nbsp;international body of work on music education.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects span a range of contexts and foci, with a particular emphasis on embodied&nbsp;music&nbsp;pedagogy, creativity, and digitization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"tribute-to-prof-damien-sagrillo\"\n    >\nTribute to Prof. Damien Sagrillo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Institute of Musicology and the Arts pays tribute to <strong>Prof. Damien Sagrillo<\/strong>, whose vision, leadership, and scholarship were instrumental in shaping the Institute during its formative years. Since its creation in 2021, Prof. Sagrillo played a central role in establishing a strong research profile dedicated to the study and valorisation of Luxembourg&#8217;s musical heritage.
