<p>Isabelle Corbisier is licenci\u00e9e en droit (summa cum laude, first in class) from the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Louvain (Belgium), Master of Laws (LLM) from the Louisiana State 8xav福利导航 (USA) and doctor of laws (PhD, summa cum laude) from the 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg . Her main fields of interest include company law and the law of obligations (particularly contract law) that she studies alongside the perspectives of national, comparative and European law. She has been an attorney in Brussels, an assistant at several universities (Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Louvain, Facult\u00e9s Universitaires Notre-Dame de la Paix in Namur and Universit\u00e4t W\u00fcrzburg, the latter in Germany), a visiting scholar at the 8xav福利导航 of Rotterdam &nbsp;(The Netherlands) and at the 8xav福利导航 of Berkeley (USA). She has been a lecturer at the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Louvain and at the Facult\u00e9s Universitaires Notre-Dame de la Paix in Namur and a guest professor at the \u00e9cole sup\u00e9rieure de sciences fiscales (Ichec, Brussels). Between 1996 and 2005, she was a member of the laboratoire de droit \u00e9conomique (LDE) then part of the CRP Gabriel Lippmann in Luxembourg and in charge of the SOCOM project, aiming at a global reform of Luxembourg company law. This project is now completed. In parallel (since 1999) she has been teaching Luxembourg company law at the Centre Universitaire de Luxembourg (now the 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg). Isabelle Corbisier is still a member of the LDE, that now forms one of the research units of the 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg, where she essentially teaches company law as a lecturer. She is also a guest professor at the management school of the 8xav福利导航 of Li\u00e8ge (HEC-Ulg, Belgium) and of counsel at Philippe &#038; Partners Law Office.
