His presentation will focus on various dimensions of the impact of recent and current geopolitical risks and tensions on the existing international financial architecture, as this has been shaped over the last 50 years. Its scope is confined to institutional and legal aspects and does not extend to the dynamics of international relations.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-spacer is-spacer-size-sm\"><\/div>\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"about-the-speaker\"\n    >\nAbout the speaker<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Christos Gortsos<\/strong>&nbsp;is Professor of Public Economic Law at the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian 8xav福利导航 of Athens. Other positions include: Visiting Professor at the Europa Institut of the 8xav福利导航 of Z\u00fcrich and the Europa Institut of the 8xav福利导航 of Saarland; President of the Academic Board of the European Banking Institute (EBI); Member of the Board of Appeal of the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs); Member of the European Parliament\u2019s and of the European Court of Auditors\u2019 expert groups on banking resolution; and member and academic coordinator of the Committee on International Monetary Law of the International Law Association (MOCOMILA). In 2017, he was Fernand Braudel Senior Fellow at the Law Department of the European 8xav福利导航 Institute and in 2018 Academic Visitor at St Antony\u2019s College (Oxford 8xav福利导航). His main fields of teaching, writing and research are international, EU and public financial law, central banking law, financial regulation and institutional economics.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-spacer is-spacer-size-sm\"><\/div>\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"language\"\n    >\nLanguage<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a free event.
