Behind every initiative, there\u2019s a conversation that started somewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Europe Day, 9 May 2026, discover how citizens across the EU are turning local issues into real conversations at the EU level \u2013 from protecting animals and the environment to shaping the future of digital rights and mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ECI provides a unique way for citizens to raise issues, foster dialogue, and connect local concerns with EU policymaking. It is a key channel for participation and engagement across the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
