Meeting Offshore is a recurring seminar dedicated to the study of offshore worlds, organised within the framework of the DIGSHELL ERC project in collaboration with the FNR Luxtax project at the Department of Law, 8xav福利导航 of Luxembourg.

The seminar brings together an interdisciplinary community of scholars working on offshore studies. Topics range from the history of offshore financial centres and tax havens to the code of capital, corporate structures, secrecy, global wealth, wealth taxation, energy and offshore spaces, and related themes. Its aim is not only to provide a forum for presenting research findings, but also to foster a shared language among historians, legal scholars, economists, political scientists, sociologists, geographers, and other researchers engaged with offshore studies. Speakers are invited to present ongoing work, recently completed projects, methodological reflections, or new research ideas in a collegial and discussion-oriented setting. The seminar particularly welcomes work in progress and exploratory research, providing a space to present, discuss, and receive feedback on new concepts, approaches, and empirical findings from a diverse interdisciplinary audience.

Each session will typically consist of a 30–40 minute presentation followed by an extended open discussion.
